UPDATE: Winners are…. PAUL & ERIC! Congratulations gentlemen!!!!
On February 1, 2012 the Washington State Senate will be voting on Marriage Equality in the State of Washington which would allow same sex couples full access to the legal system of civil marriage. Although the bill passage may be challenged after the vote by referendum, it’s highly likely to still pass a statewide vote of the citizens. With that said, kapchur.us photography will be raffling off a wedding photo package for ONE very lucky same sex couple. The drawing will be held on April 1.
So, what IS part of this package??? This package would include, an amazing 2 hour engagement shoot with a bottle of champagne to enhance the mood, and for the wedding day, a full day with two photographers (each photographer documenting the earlier prep for each of the two wedding participants), up to 15 hours of shooting in one day. We’ll then edit the photos, post the “best of the best” on Facebook for your friends and family (usually with 48 hours), then we’ll create a SmugMug gallery where you, your friends and family can order physical prints. We’ll also burn a set of the photos on DVD.
We would like to be able to use the photos taken during the winning ceremony as promotional material as well. Much more information on our wedding packages on our website: http://kaphcur.us/pricing
More details to be fleshed out with winning participants!
Travel expenses would need to be agreed upon if the wedding venue is 50 miles outside of Seattle. If you live outside of Washington State, but would like to come to WA to get married feel free to enter! WA State Citizens interested in a destination wedding outside of WA (same sex of course for the purposes of this raffle) need only pay for agreed upon travel expenses!
Questions or inquiries can be submitted on our website using the Contact Us form at the top of the page.
We CANNOT wait to share this special day with you! You’ll look amazing and we’ll capture the love and commitment you’ve shared for so long, that now FINALLY will be come legally recognized in the State of Washington, an historic moment for all of us!
